Many of you have asked questions about Steve Burns, the co-star of Blue's Clues. We asked Steve to tell us a little about himself and this is what he told us.

Q: Where did you grow up?
A: Boyertown, PA.

Q: When is your birthday?
A: October 9th.

Q: Do you have any brothers and sisters?
A: I have two older sisters named Jennifer and Karen.

Q: Did you have any pets growing up?
A: Frogs, turtles, salamanders, newts, a tortoise named Sweet Jane, a dog named Maggie, and two cats named Samantha and Patsa.

Q: What were your favorite things to do/play as a child?
A: Catch frogs and build forts with the sofa cushions.

Q: What were your favorite books as a child?
A: The Monster at the End of this Book, The Giving Tree, and Where the Sidewalk Ends.

Q: What was your favorite TV show growing up?
A: Sesame Street

Q: Who were some of your idols/mentors that have influenced or shaped your life in a positive way?
A: Rocky Balboa, Grover, Mom and Dad.

Q: When you were a child, what did you want to be when you "grew up?"
A: Architect.

Q: What sports do you like to do now?
A: Running, Hiking, Rock Climbing, and Rollerblading to and from work.

Q: How did you get interested in acting?
A: My Grandparents were hams. I've always been a performer.

Q: What was the first production you performed in and what parts did you play?
A: The Wizard of Oz - I was the Wizard and the Mayor of Munchkin City.

Q: Where did you go to college and what was your major?
A: Allentown College. I was a Theater major.

Q: Who are your favorite actors?
A: Robert Duvall and Al Pacino

Q: Do you play any instruments?
A: Guitar.

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Cheeseburgers, Italian food, peanut butter, oatmeal.

Q: What are your most favorite things to do when you're not working on Blue's Clues?
A: Eat cheeseburgers, read, have quiet time, and listen to music.
